The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) will present its 34th Annual AACD Scientific Session at McCormick Place Lakeside Center in Chicago, April 18 to April 21. The conference will comprise more than 40 hands-on workshops, 70 lectures, and 80 educators across 4 tracks of continuing education.

“Dentists attend the Annual AACD Scientific Session because they want to give their patients the best results possible,” said Sten M. The Complex Case collection will feature Lee Culp, CDT, Joseph Kan, DDS, MS, Aldo Leopardi, BDS, DDS, and Michael Sesemann, DDS, who will tackle a pair of cases. The Accreditation collection will feature accreditation chair John Rowe Jr, DDS, as he leads a team of clinicians and attendees in hands-on work toward mastery of some of the most in-demand and profitable cosmetic case types as well as toward becoming an Accredited Member of AACD.

The Lab Focus collection will feature 2 full days of the top dental technicians in the field, reports the AACD, presenting the latest techniques and materials, including Jungo Endo, RDT, Edris Rasta, MDT, Thomas Sing, MDT, Sung Bin Im, CDT, MDC, and Aram M. Torosian, CDT, MDC. They will explore pink aesthetics, biomimetic layering, matching a single central, and digital and aesthetic considerations for creating predictable restorations respectively.

Finally, the Dental Team collection will educate dental team members about essential skills for assisting with cosmetic dentistry patients, including leadership, communication, contemporary concepts in cosmetic dentistry, and aesthetic dental photography. Instructors will include Leigh Ann Faight, RDH; Salvatore Lotardo, DDS; Debra Engelhardt Nash, and Adamo Notarantonio, DDS.
