The Preci-Post System offers color-coded 2.5°-tapered reamers and posts. The one-piece post crown or coping restorations may be fabricated without needing a solder joint. Unbreakable plastic posts conform to the recess made with the corresponding color-coded reamers. The opaque impression posts are self-separating and will not adhere to most die materials, and the heads are retained in any impression material. The special plastic of the translucent laboratory posts will burn out readily without residue at temperatures compatible with any alloy, including nonprecious.
