Brasseler USA’s BrioShine Leather Lite Composite & Ceramic Single-Use Polishers are designed for the universal polishing and finishing of ceramic and composite materials with predictable results. They adapt to most tooth surfaces yet are durable enough to last through multiple restorations, the company reports. And compared to most polishing systems, they eliminate time spent polishing by reducing the number of steps required for optimal results, according to Brasseler USA. They are recommended for use at slow speed of 4,000 to 6,000 rpm accompanied by a light water spray.

The BrioShine Feather Lite Composite & Ceramic Single-Use Polishers are available in medium intraoral “step one” polisher for both composite and ceramic polishing. The universal composite diamond impregnated polishers are indicated for universal pre-polishing of composite restorations. The universal ceramic diamond impregnated polishers are indicated for pre-polishing zirconia, lithium disilicate, and porcelain and porcelain fused to metal restorations. Also, the fine intraoral “step 2” diamond impregnated polishers are used as a final universal polisher designed to provide an exquisite finish for all restorations.

An economic alternative to conventional polishing systems, single-use polishers reduce overhead costs by reducing dispensing labor while completely eliminating the time-consuming sterilization process, Brasseler USA says. Each BrioShine Feather Lite Composite & Ceramic Single-Use Polisher is color-coded and features unique markers for easy identification for application. The polishers are available in packages of 30.
