The Air Techniques ProVecta HD Intraoral X-Ray’s DC tube features a 0.4-mm focal point for maximal image sharpness and reduces patient radiation dose by more than 25% compared to conventional AC units. It works with wired sensors, cordless flexible phosphor sensors (PSPs), and film. Its generator head is designed with right-angle/parallel technology for precise handling and alignment. It also provides adjustable mA, kV, and exposure time to take high-quality x-rays via an intuitive icon-driven control panel. Air Techniques says. Users can choose from short (66 inches), medium (72 inches), and long (84 inches) extended arm lengths. And, the factory programmed dosage is specifically set for each view when using Air Techniques’ ScanX PSPs.
