Ultradent Products has appointed Jaleena Fischer Jessop, DDS, as its director of clinical affairs. She will oversee all phases of product development to ensure that the clinician’s point of view is considered in every aspect. Also, she will head a new clinical team at the company that will work with other departments to ensure clinical input and accuracy in every area at the company.

Her rich clinical experience, drive to provide the highest standard of care for patients, and passion for Ultradent’s vision of improving oral health globally will enable Ultradent to continue to offer solutions that are driven from clinical insights for many years into the future,” said Dirk Jeffs, president of Ultradent.
Jessop graduated with honors in oral surgery from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2002 and later completed a 2-year certification for straight wire orthodontics from the American Orthodontic Society. Also, she served on the Utah Dental Association Board for 2 years and the national advisory board at the University of Utah Dental School for 3 years. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Utah Dental School.
At Ultradent, Jessop has served on the New Product Evaluation Committee and consulted on numerous product development and design projects. Additionally, she has participated regularly in the company’s upper management meetings, helping to establish its strategic direction and contributing her clinical experience to many of the company’s decisions. In her private practice, where she has worked for 15 years and will continue to work, she emphasizes aesthetic and minimally invasive dentistry.
