Halloween may be fun, but all of those sweets take a toll on young teeth. During the Halloween Candy Buy Back program, thousands of dentists across the country trade cash, toothbrushes, and other rewards to kids for their excess candy after trick or treating is over. The candy is then shipped to US troops overseas.

Now, Tess Oral Health is sending one toothbrush to US troops for every box of its “Happy Halloween” toothbrushes it sells. According to the company, these toothbrushes are great autumn giveaways in dental offices and during Candy Buy Back events. They come in orange and black, and they can be personalized with the dental office’s message or logo.

“We are happy to support the Candy Buy Back program again this year,” said Rob Conner, president of Tess Oral Health. “We hope that by promoting our involvement, others will also get involved with this great organization.”

Since its launch in 2005, the Halloween Candy Buy Back program has collected more than 130 tons of goodies to send to the troops. The company has partnered with Soldiers’ Angels, which provides aid to active and veteran personnel and their families, to distribute the candy in care packages sent abroad.
