The DentalEZ Simplicity LED Operatory Light is designed to last much longer than halogen, operate at a cooler temperature, and reduce energy costs. It offers high, medium, and low settings at 36,000, 27,000, and 18,000 lux. Also, it provides a rectangular light pattern of 6.5 by 3.5 inches with minimal shadows. Its color temperature ranges from 5,000 to 5,700 Kelvin.
With three-axis adjustment, smooth rotation, and ergonomic handles, DentalEZ says, it allows for a wide range of light positioning for a better view of the oral cavity. Plus, it can be controlled manually or with a hands-free sensor. The Simplicity LED is available as a standalone light or as a retrofit kit for upgrades from the Simplicity Halogen model.
