They are designed to adhere well to moist surfaces and set quickly in seconds after contacting with saliva. Also, they provide high immediate fluoride release to relieve hypersensitivity, according to the company. The non-messy SingleDose delivery system supports easy use and quick uptake formulization, with enhanced flow characteristics so it reaches areas that traditional varnishes may miss, VOCO said. Profluorid Varnishes include Xylitol as well.
