Parkell’s multimode Universal Adhesive is formulated with a unique blend of 4-META and MDP technologies, the company reports. This proprietary formulation is designed to provide reliable micro-mechanical and chemical adhesion to dentin and enamel, regardless of the etching technique. It also offers high bond strength with a variety of substrates, including metals, composites, and ceramics, Parkell says. It provides desensitization of dentin due to excellent penetration of the resin into the tubules, the company adds, along with compatibility with light-cured, self-cured, and dual-cured resins. And, its 3-µm film thickness is particularly important when cementing crowns, bridges, or other indirect restorations, according to Parkell.
