The 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner and Alineadent Clear Aligners are now digitally integrated. Orthodontists now can send their intraoral scans to Alineadent through the cloud for fast planning and delivery of its clear aligner orthodontic solutions, according to the companies.

Doctors choose Alineadent clear aligners from their 3Shape Communicate app and click “send.” Impressions are instantly sent to Alineadent, which joins more than 45 orthodontic solution and sleep device providers and more than 350 bracket libraries already integrated with the TRIOS.

“Whether it’s clear aligners, brackets, 3-D printers, or more, 3Shape believes it should be up to doctors to choose the solutions they prefer. Alineadent’s clear aligners make a terrific addition to our open ecosystem of quality treatment options for patients,” said Allan Junge Hyldal, vice president of 3Shape orthodontics.

“We are very satisfied with this new integration that will surely make any clinic’s work a lot easier and precise. The use of 3Shape TRIOS provides us with a better image of both gum and teeth irregularities for a more predictable treatment,” said Javier Briales, CEO of Alineadent.
