The LOCATOR is the most widely used connecter for anchoring overdentures to implants. LOCATOR implant abutments are available in a wide range of cuff heights and are compatible with all major implant systems. The morse taper connection of the male and female attachment provides a self-aligning prosthesis that is very easy for the patient to insert and remove with excellent stability and retention. Retention options range from 0.5 to 5 lbs per attachment. It has the lowest vertical height requirement of any implant overdenture abutment connector. The Extended Range Males accommodate divergent implants up to 40°. The unique pivoting action of the LOCATOR reduces forces directed to the implant by allowing free rotation and movement of the metal housing of the male that is connected to the removable prosthesis.
