The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) has named Adamo Notarantonio, DDS, an Accredited Fellow, representing the highest level of achievement for members in accordance with the group’s mission of education and excellence. Notarantonio has been an AACD member since 2007 and achieved Accredited Member status in 2011.

A 2002 graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, Notarantonio received honors in both removable and fixed prosthodontics there. He completed his residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program there in 2003 and was chosen by the faculty to complete a second year as chief resident.

In 2016, the AACD recognized Notarantonio with its Rising Star Award. He currently serves as accreditation chairman. He also is on the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Board of Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry. He volunteers for the AACD Charitable Foundation’s Give Back a Smile program as well.

“Dr. Notarantonio’s commitment to responsible aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry is undeniable with his most recent achievement as an AACD Accredited Fellow,” said AACD Fellowship chair Bradley J. Olson, DDS. “Our Accredited Fellow members must complete one of the most rigorous yet lifechanging journeys of their career and of their lives.”

Notarantonio will be honored for this achievement at the 35th Annual AACD Scientific Session in San Diego on April 24, 2019.
