Lasers 101 Educational Track Scheduled for ALD Annual Meeting

The Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) will present its Lasers 101 or “So You Got a Laser—Now What?” full-day educational track on Saturday, April 4 from 8 am to 3 pm during its 27thAnnual Conference and Exhibition, April 2-4 at the Paradise Point Resort in San Diego.

“This learning track is designed to excite clinicians interested in exploring laser dentistry or those who may be on the fence about it,” said ALD executive director Gail Siminovsky, CAE. “By taking this course, clinicians put themselves in the driver’s seat with confidence when it comes to evaluating lasers clinically and using them.”

Speakers and topics will include:

  • Michael Cataldo, CEO of Convergent Lasers, discussing “Return on Your Laser Investment”
  • Juliana Barros, DDS, MS, discussing “Let the Light Shine: A Brighter Day at the Office”
  • Shalizah Patel, DDS, MEd, discussing “Laser Protocols: Let the Evidence Guide You”

The track will offer 6 continuing education credits, full access to the exhibit hall, breakfast and lunch, and a panel discussion. Registration is $695 per attendee or free with registration for the entire ALD 2020 meeting.
