Keystone Dental has named Russ Bonafede its new CEO. He succeeds Michael Kehoe, who has stepped down but will remain in a consulting capacity for the next six months. Bonafede has nearly 30 years of experience predominantly in the implantable medical device industry.

Previously, Bonafede was president of Zest Dental Solutions and of Henry Schein Orthodontics. Also, he was vice president of global marketing for both Zimmer Dental and Biomet 3i before those organizations merged. He holds an MBA from San Diego State University.

“Keystone Dental has a significant legacy in the implant market and remains one of the larger independent companies in the sector,” said Bonafede. “In collaboration with our new private equity partners, Accelmed, I look forward to accelerating Keystone’s position through a combination of organic and new business development initiatives.”
