About Panasil® tray

Panasil® tray is a high viscosity addition-curing preliminary impression material in fast (Shore Hardness A62), soft (Shore Hardness A55) and soft fast (Shore Hardness A55) versions. Highly thixotropic, the pressure builds up quickly and is easy to remove from the mouth. Panasil® tray materials are available both a 362-mL foil bag for Kettenbach’s Plug & Press® dispenser and 50-mL cartridges. The time properties for the three versions are as follows—Fast heavy: working time (1 minute, 20 seconds for foil bag and 1 minute for cartridge) and intraoral setting time (2 minutes for both); Soft heavy: working time (2 minutes) and intraoral setting time (2 minutes); and Soft fast: working time (1 minute, 20 seconds for foil bag and 1 minute for cartridge) and intraoral setting time (2 minutes for both).

About Panasil® initial contact

Panasil® initial contact (Shore Hardness A46) has a unique initial hydrophilicity, allowing the material to immediately overcome any remaining moisture in the mouth. An exact impression of the prepared margin is assured, even in situations with a deep sulcus or a moist environment. Panasil® initial contact is highly thixotropic with outstanding flow properties. The material is available in three viscosities—regular, light and x-light. The time properties for the two versions are as follows—Regular set: working time (1 minute, 30 seconds); and an intraoral setting time (2 minute, 30 seconds); Fast set: working time (1 minute); intraoral set time (2 minutes).
