Air Techniques has donated a VacStar 20 Wet Vacuum System to the Helping Haitian Angels (HHA) Kay Ann Village (KAV) Dental Clinic. A nonprofit Christian organization, HHA serves 65 children who live at the KAV orphanage, 45 Haitian staff members who work there along with their families, and 100 children from the surrounding village who attend the orphanage’s school. HHA also operates the KAV Dental Clinic.

“Giving back to the dental community and the organizations which serve it is an important service for us here at Air Techniques,” said Patrick Strohkirch, Air Techniques director of special markets. “Air Techniques is committed to playing an active role within the dental community.”

Bill and Debbie Harvey founded HHA in 2008. Led by Joe McIntyre, DDS, and his wife Becky McIntyre, RDH, the KAV Dental Clinic opened in 2016. It has provided fluoride treatments, dental screenings, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Looking ahead, the clinic is looking for volunteer dental professionals who can serve there as well as donations of funds and additional equipment.
