Slated to debut in April 2021, the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige uses SenseIQ technology to sense each user’s individual brushing style and adapt as they brush. With a premium all-in-one brush head, it delivers the complete package for plaque removal, stain removal, and gum care so users can clean without compromise every single day, Philips said.

As users brush, the Sonicare 9900 Prestige uses sensors to detect the pressure that users apply, the cleaning motions they use, and the coverage they achieve up to a hundred times a second. The sensors also monitor how long and how often users brush. Many people apply too much pressure while they brush, Philips said, which is why the Sonicare 9900 Prestige automatically adjusts intensity when they push too hard.

The premium all-in-one brush head is designed to brush away plaque, remove stains, and care for gums without the need to switch brush heads and do guesswork on the modes. The angled bristles help remove up to 20 times more plaque, Philips said, while providing flex to compensate for any excess pressure.

Triangle tips can remove up to 100% more stains in less than two days, Philips continued, and the longer bristles provide a deep clean for gums that are up to 15 times healthier. This is Philips all-time best brush head, the company said, helping users achieve cleaner, whiter teeth and healthier gums with ease.

The Philips Sonicare app is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and works in perfect harmony with the Sonicare 9900 Prestige, the company said. Used together, the app provides real-time guidance on pressure, motion, position, duration, and frequency of brushing.

Progress reports by day, week, month, and year are all available at the tap of a button for personalized recommendations and actionable steps for better brushing. Most people don’t bring their phone into the bathroom with them while brushing, so auto-syncing keeps brushing data up to date even when users don’t brush with the app by their side, so they can monitor their brushing progress from anywhere.

A simple push of the integrated power control lets users start brushing immediately, Philips said. And with no visible gaps of seams between the button and handle, the Sonicare 9900 Prestige can always stay clean, according to the company. Its compact travel case is wrapped in soft-touch vegan leather for durability and style. The case includes an integrated USB-C port and USB charging cable so the toothbrush can be recharged without removing it from the case as well.
