Septodont’s Dentapen is a self-contained CCLAD that enables dentists to utilize standard dental anesthetic cartridges and needles. It is entirely portable, meaning a single device may be all that a dentist needs to purchase. It runs on disposable batteries and enables the local anesthetic to be delivered at three speeds and in three modes, including full speed, ramped up (blue light), and pressure mode (purple light). Designed for ergonomics, the Dentapen weighs just 1.4 ounces. Two different handles let users hold it like a traditional syringe or like a pen as well.
