The Dentsply Sirona Midwest Stylus Plus Mini high-speed air handpiece features a shorter head to allow deeper access without compromising performance and durability, according to the company. Also, its patented grip design features a mix of dimpled and flat areas to help with intuitive index positioning and provide users with clear tactile feedback on hand orientation for a high degree of handpiece control, Dentsply Sirona says.

As part of the Midwest Stylus Plus family of handpieces, the Mini integrates the company’s exclusive Dynamic Speed Control technology. The combination of this technology and the new patented air foil allows the handpiece to help limit excess free speeds and reduce stopping time. Ceramic bearings, computer-aided balancing, and tuned air flow are among the Mini’s features as well.
