Oxford Scientific’s Zircore NANO is a dual-cure, radiopaque composite material for core buildup and post cementing. It includes nano-silica, nano-zirconia, and nano-calcium fluoride yielding excellent mechanical and physical properties that allow for precise crown prep and easy cementation, according to the company. The material also has a short setting time and excellent thixotropic properties, Oxford Scientific said.

Plus, Zircore NANO’s nano-calcium fluoride assists in caries prevention. Its dual-cure properties enable the dentist to perform cementations and core build-ups where light curing cannot be guaranteed to be adequate. Zircore NANO is compatible with other resin- or composite-based products as well.
