Planmeca has named Donald Boyd its dental service organization (DSO) account manager. Boyd will partner with key decision makers who understand the efficiency model that drives digital integration in the growing DSO segment. According to the ADA Health Policy Institute, 7% of dentists now work for a DSO.
Boyd will work closely with the Planmeca sales, service, distribution network, and marketing teams to maximize relationships with the company’s DSO customers and open new avenues of efficient workflows within the growing DSOs.
Previously, Boyd has been a sales representative for Healthco International, a territory manager for Midwest Dental and Premier Dental, and a sales manager for Henry Schein. He also spent 18 years with Nobel Biocare in various positions, from sales representative to national accounts manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida.
