Dr. Marangos, a 1986 graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, completed a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto in 1987. He has been trained in ETPS Neuromechanical Therapy for pain management as well as Motor Reflex Testing Autonomics for improved diagnostics in chronic pain. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics, and Academy of Dentistry International. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, American Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Association for Orthodontics, American Academy of Functional Orthodontics, Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the AGD. Presently, he is the founding president and immediate past president of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Canadian Chapter. Dr. Marangos has lectured for many groups and study clubs on restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and the management of TMD and craniofacial pain, direct and indirect restorative dentistry, biometrics, occlusion, predictable aesthetic dentistry as well as teaching hands-on programs about direct anterior and posterior composite restorations. He has written numerous articles on restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and craniofacial pain. He was guest editor for Oral Health Journal, an edition devoted to TMD and craniofacial pain, as well as TMJ/Craniomandibular Editor CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice.
