She serves on the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products, is an expert on ANSI standards with National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA Commerce Department and as USA Delegate to International Organizations of Standardization and International Electrotechnical Commission, Association for the Advancement of Medical Devices, and serves as a subject matter expert with the Association for Food and Drug Officials, among many others. She serves as group program chair of pharmacology/therapeutics/toxicology group for IADR/ AADR, editor and expert reviewer of various oral sciences journals, and is Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists and a member of the International College of Prosthodontists.

She has been an active expert on Capitol Hill in testifying before United States Congress and White House as well as a dentistry and toxicology expert and contributor with ABC, NBC, and healthcare industry sectors.
