Almost seven weeks prior to the start of IDS 2023, the leading international trade fair of the dental industry is ideally placed.
The global industry highlight is not only taking place for the fortieth time but is also celebrating its 100th anniversary.
“100 years IDS – shaping the dental future”
The IDS has been designing the dental future for 100 years now and will once again impressively demonstrate this from March 14 through March 18.
Around 1,700 companies from 60 countries have already registered for the leading international trade fair for dentistry and dental technology.
Around 75 percent of the exhibiting companies come from abroad – the strong international participation is proof of the global charisma of the IDS. In addition to the largest participation from Germany, the most important international exhibitor participants in Cologne are currently expected from Italy, the Republic of Korea, France, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, and the USA.
In addition to this, numerous foreign group stands will be represented in Cologne again. Fifteen groups from 13 countries have registered for the ISD so far, for example, from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Israel, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and the USA.
IDS 2023 will be staged in Halls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 of the Cologne fair grounds in a gross exhibition area of around 180,000 square metres. All exhibition halls are connected via a simple circular route. Four entrance areas – the Entrances South, East and West, as well as the entrance on the trade fair Boulevard – ensure that visitors will be evenly distributed throughout the exhibition halls.
IDS (International Dental Show) takes place in Cologne every two years and is organised by the GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH, the commercial enterprise of the Association of German Dental Manufacturers (VDDI), and is staged by Koelnmesse GmbH, Cologne.
