Aspen Dental Management Inc (ADMI) has opened a new, state-of-the-art learning and development space in its recently opened offices in the West Loop of Chicago. The 50,000-square-foot area was created to serve as a hub for ADMI in the Midwest and house the company’s 25,000-square-foot learning and development center as well as a practice support center that ultimately will include 250 newly created jobs.
The two-story buildout includes private virtual training studios, three large training rooms with movable partitions, an audiovisual media wall with interactive digital signage, and full video conferencing capabilities, so learning isn’t limited to the four walls of the building. It will host monthly programs for dentists, hygienists, and office managers designed to support them at all phase of their learning journey at ADMI, from initial onboarding to leadership development.
“One of the most exciting things about this new space is that there are plenty of areas for people to network and connect,” said Dr. Arwinder Judge, chief clinical officer at ADMI. “It is designed to foster community and collaboration.”
For example, dentists can use these opportunities to learn how to better communicate with their patients and team members. Future events may include clinical research as well as other relevant and informative talks, along with opportunities for networking. Additional features in the space include a custom millwork coffee bar, open café, and catering kitchen space designed to enhance these events.
“With the Aspen Dental network growing as fast as it is, the resources that we dedicate to developing people are the most important investments we make. And this new learning and development center is just the latest example of our commitment to doctors, hygienists, and team members and supporting their long-term careers at Aspen Dental,” said Judge.
