Keena Named Director of Dental Hygiene at Elite Dental Partners

Elite Dental Partners has named Trish S. Keena its director of dental hygiene.

Previously, Keena was an executive account manager at OraPharma, where she supported improved patient care through product education and systems implementation, helping dental offices achieve their clinical goals, Elite Dental Partners said.

While at OraPharma, Keena also received three National Achievement Awards and graduated from the Bausch Health Emerging Leaders Program with a winning capstone project on corporate social responsibility.

Keena has served as a professional educator for Waterpik and as an adjunct faculty member at Sanford Brown College in Skokie, Illinois, where she created and delivered a curriculum for non-traditional adult students interested in careers as certified dental assistants.

Additionally, Keena has served as a regional coordinator for the Oral Cancer Foundation, where she was honored with an Award for Excellence in Public Service.

“Trish brings energy, talent, and perspective to this position,” said Adam Burr, DDS, chief dental officer at Elite Dental Partners, which has 104 locally branded practices.

“As director of dental hygiene, she will support hygienists and the doctors they work with across the organization as they deliver high-quality services to patients. Trish will establish a comprehensive soft-tissue health program in our growing organization, and we welcome her to the team,” Burr said.

Keena earned a BS in healthcare leadership from National Louis University in Chicago and an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene from Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, She is now completing her MBA at Purdue University Global.
