If you’re heading to the Windy City for the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting (CMW) later this month, don’t forget your tights and cape. Sirona Dental will host its Superheroes of Dentistry party on Friday, February 26 at 7 pm at the House of Blues on Dearborn Street.
“We continue to exceed our own expectations as well as those of our event attendees,” said company president Michael Augins, “and we intend to uphold our reputation for hosting legendary parties by throwing a bash inspired by our dental superheroes.”
CMW attendees who register and participate in a brief Sirona booth tour each will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the party. Tours will be available on Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26, from 9 am to 5 pm. Registration for tours is available online.
During the tour, guests will experience the Ultimate Sirona Office and hear from the company’s leading clinicians. They also will witness product demonstrations and learn more about Sirona’s innovations. Tickets for the party will be distributed once the tour is over, and they will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The party will feature the music of Maggie Speaks, which plays hits from the 1980s through today. American Entertainment Magazine recognized the band as the best duo or group of 2009, and Event Solutions Magazine called them the best entertainment ensemble of 2010.
“Sirona continuously provides the highest caliber of entertainment during our events and this exceptionally talented group of musicians is no exception,” said Augins. “Maggie Speaks delivers more than just a performance.”
Guests are encouraged to come in costume as their favorite superhero or as a character of their own creation. The party is the second in a series of events leading up to the 3-day inaugural SIROWORLD celebration in Orlando, scheduled for August 11 to August 13.
SIROWORLD is designed to allow thousands of doctors to gather and collaborate, share ideas, engage in informative conversations, and learn from leading clinicians and business professionals. It also will encourage attendees to expand their knowledge of Sirona technologies and software.
“SIROWORLD is the event we always dreamed of creating for the dental community,” Augins said.
