During their Spring 2016 Meeting in Louisville, Ky, members of the TEREC, NA association of independently owned North American dental laboratories explored the latest in technology, manufacturing, and industry trends.

For example, members of the group toured Derby Dental Laboratory’s new facility. Also, Chris Frye and Stuart and Anne Steinblock of Whip Mix gave a presentation on 3-D printing and the dental industry.

Michael O’Donnell and Linda Barrier of Dental Products Report discussed how to generate business and cases. And, Barry Diener and Weng Lam of Stratasys reviewed the company’s additive manufacturing solutions and technologies.

TEREC, NA is a strategic alliance of regional laboratories established in 1984 to identify, evaluate, and develop new technologies. Its members also share the costs of marketing programs while learning how to use the materials, management systems, production procedures, and prosthetic techniques.
