Sirona Dental has announced its schedule of speakers and events for the CEREC 30th Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for Sept. 17-19 at the Venetian Hotel and the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas. Attendees can earn up to 18 CE credits across a spectrum of topics and tracks—and get inspired by National Football League legend Emmitt Smith, too.

“I have always been amazed at the amount of participation and help that the CEREC users offer to each other. Some of my best friends in the world are those that I have met on my CEREC journey,” said Rich Rosenblatt, a faculty member of cerecdoctors.com. “Those who are new to CEREC will really understand this after they attend CEREC 30.”

Among the 11 speakers scheduled for the general session, Sameer Puri will discuss CEREC as the center of the digital practice’s universe. Rella Christensen will explain how to overcome challenging clinical situations related to lithium disilicate. And, Harry Kraemer will describe how you can become a values-based leader.

CEREC 30’s Breakout Educational Sessions will be segmented into tracks focused on different types of Sirona digital dentistry solutions: CEREC, 3D Drive, inLab, and Schick. Sponsored Breakout Sessions will include additional explorations of high-strength glass ceramics, custom implant solutions, patient financing, and materials.

Dolphin Imaging & Management Solutions will conduct the Orthodontic Symposium. Hugo De Clerck, DDS, PhD, will review miniplate anchorage for midface protraction in class III patients and molar distalization in class II cases. Arthur Curley, Esq., will expound upon the law and 3-D imaging. Shikha Rathi, BDS, MS, will detail the imaging of diagnostic “pearls.” John Graham, DDS, MD, will look at cutting-edge orthodontic treatment.

Eaglesoft will offer 10 hours of training to celebrate its 21st birthday, including Eaglesoft Mobile, scheduling, IntelliCare, and reports, along with a sneak peek of Eaglesoft 18. Fortune Management will honor its 25th anniversary with guest speakers, celebrities, and an exclusive training track with noted motivational speaker Tony Robbins.

All work and no play makes for a dull time, though. In addition to parties, dining, and shopping, attendees can rock out with Train on Friday, Sept. 18 as the Grammy Award winners present a set including hits like “Meet Virginia,” “Drops of Jupiter,” “Angel in Blue Jeans,” and “Bulletproof Picaso.”

“We always say that our clients are the rock stars of dentistry, and we want them to feel like they are at the ‘Woodstock of Dentistry’ as they experience C30, the world’s largest dentistry festival,” said Michael Augins, president of Sirona Dental Inc.

And, it doesn’t matter if you’re a football fan with season tickets or you just tune into the “Big Game” for the commercials. CEREC 30 promises an engaging and inspiring speech from NFL Hall of Fame running back, rushing record holder, 3-time Super Bowl champion, and former Dallas Cowboy Emmitt Smith.

“His story and accomplishments embody what a person who overcomes adversity is capable of, and his philanthropic endeavors have had a tremendous impact in providing opportunities to the underprivileged,” said Augins. “It’s a joy and honor to have him on hand to speak at our C30 event.”
