The Pankey Institute has scheduled its 2019 annual meeting, celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, for Thursday, September 12 through Saturday, September 14 in Key Biscayne, Florida. The event will feature continuing education, social activities, a fun run along the beach, an evening party at the Ritz with dancing and live music, and an open house at the Institute’s newly renovated facility.

“We are excited and deeply honored to welcome back as special guests one of our organization’s founding members, as well as 12 of the original faculty. This is a rare opportunity for alumni to meet many of the legends responsible for creating this amazing community,” said Lee Ann Brady, DMD, director of education.

Under the theme of “The Future Starts Now,” the education program will feature:

  • Gary Takacs will share effective marketing strategies that promote the Pankey-style practice.
  • Dr. Gary Severance and Angela Severance will demonstrate how digital technology can transform dentistry from diagnosis to completion.
  • Dr. Dennis Stiles will introduce “Resilient Leadership,” designed to open a door to a new way to see, think, and lead.
  • Dr. Charlie Ward will demonstrate a novel approach to digital shade matching.
  • Jessica Brustad, a comedian and yoga instructor, will entertain, educate, and motivate attendees to have more fun in their busy lives.
  • Dr. Lee Ann Brady will discuss new materials and technology in adhesive dentistry.
  • Mary Osborne will introduce the “Outward Mindset” and how it can dramatically improve performance, spark collaboration, and accelerate innovation.
