National Dentex Labs gave $5,000 to the Smiles for Everyone Foundation during the Smile Brands Inc. Annual Leadership Meeting in Dallas, Texas, on January 10. The nonprofit organization will use the donation to help deliver free dental services to low-income individuals in Cambodia, Ghana, Laos, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Thailand, and the United States.

Every dollar donated to the Smiles for Everyone Foundation provides $25 in donated dental care, National Dentex Labs says. This particular donation helped support one of the foundation’s Day of Giving free dental clinics, providing free dental care to more than 90 low-income and underinsured patients in Austin, Texas. National Dentex Labs also supports the foundation’s Smile Makeover Program by donating free lab services to restoration cases.

Founded in 2011, the Smiles for Everyone Foundation has provided more than $19 million in donated dentistry to support more than 26,000 smiles.
