Sponsored by the American College of Legal Medicine, the 12th annual Ethics and Legal Aspects of Dentistry Conference will be held Friday and Saturday, February 22 and 23, 2019, at the Biltmore Resort Hotel in Los Angeles.
Dentists attending the conference will be able to learn more about legal issues in dentistry and understand the government’s role and the role of dental education; describe ethical, moral, and diagnostic issues as they relate to the dental practice; and evaluate risk management considerations.
The conference also will review prescriptions of controlled substances; issues relating to patient care, access to care, and dental healthcare coverage; licensure issues; social media; state board compliance; malpractice; bite marks; the #MeToo movement; ethics in academia; and corporate dentistry.
