Ultradent Extends VALO Curing Light Warranties to Three Years

Ultradent Products is extending all current VALO curing light warranties to three years, including the addition of one year to all current two-year warranties. This includes the VALO Corded, VALO Cordless, VALO Ortho, and VALO Grand models.

The VALO curing light uses a custom, multiwavelength LED to product high-intensity light at 385 to 515 nm, capable of polymerizing all light-cured dental materials. The intensity also can penetrate porcelain and can cure underlying resin cements, similar to a quality halogen light, the company reports.

The light’s optimally collimated beam delivers a complete, uniform cure to the entire restoration, Ultradent says. Each model features three curing modes, Standard Power, High Power, and Xtra Power, offering clinicians convenience, efficiency, and flexibility, the company says.

Each VALO curing light starts as a solid bar of tempered, high-grade aerospace aluminum, which is then CNC precision milled at Ultradent’s facility in South Jordan, Utah. The unibody construction is designed to ensure maximum durability and provide unsurpassed heat dissipation.

Also, each light is designed with ergonomics in mind so users can easily reach the entire curing site without sacrificing patient comfort. The VALO Cordless and Grand models run on two inexpensive and rechargeable lithium iron phosphate batteries that deliver consistent power, Ultradent says.

“The decision to extend the warranty of our award-winning curing lights was an easy one, as we stand by the quality and longevity of the VALO curing light,” said Mike Simmons, Ultradent’s equipment brand manager. “We hope this small gesture will stand as a token of our sincere appreciation to our loyal customers and give them added peace of mind in their investment.”
