Shofu Dental’s FIT SA self-adhesive flowable restorative includes bioactive Giomer technology, enabling it to release and recharge six beneficial ions for the life of the restoration. These ions inhibit plaque formation, minimize hypersensitivity, neutralize acid, and release and recharge fluoride, according to the company.

Also, FIT SA eliminates the need for the technique-sensitive bonding procedure, Shofu Dental says. This nanohybrid composite is designed for use as a liner, including small Class I (PRR), Class III, and Class V options, as well as other non-load-bearing restorations. Its unique chemistry is BPA-free and provides a chemical bond, as well as resin tag infiltration, the company says.

FIT SA additionally offers superior strength and polishability, Shofu Dental says. The unique filler structure combines the light transmission and diffusion properties of dentin and enamel to blend with the surrounding dentition, the company says. And, it delivers precision placement with its ideal handling, high bond strength for reliable adhesion, and total integration of bioactive benefits, according to Shofu.
