3M’s Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative and Filtek Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative composite materials will now feature an improved syringe design to simplify placement. The tip reduces bubbles and waste by producing virtually no bubbles or material run-on during dispensing, 3M says. It also allows for effortless access to the prep area with cannula that can be bent easily by hand without kinking, the company says.

Plus, the new syringe is designed to be more ergonomic and user-friendly, featuring a triangle finger plate and larger plunger that makes it easy to hold and inject while enabling clinicians to quickly personalize the grip. And though the syringe is new and improved, 3M says, the flowable materials remain dependable by continuing to provide excellent adaptation, polish retention, and wear resistance.

The Filtek Supreme Flowable Restorative and Filtek Bulk Fill Restorative both suit a range of indications and techniques, including Class III and V restorations and use as a base or liner under direct restorations, 3M says. The materials also adapt easily, seal the margin, and are safe to warm, the company says.
