The EXTARO 300 from Zeiss is the first device to combine caries detection technology with optical magnification, according to the company. Its Fluorescence Mode is designed to help users repair caries-infected fillings efficiently and more clearly identify the border between natural and artificial tooth material. Also, its NoGlare mode features polarized illumination, and its TrueLight Mode provides optimized color balance. With the ZEISS Connect App, users can show images of past and current patient conditions and highlight areas requiring treatment, enabling patients to make informed decisions. And, its multifunctional Mode Control enables users to operate the Varioskop 230 and adjust its focal length of 200 to 430 mm with just one finger and without leaving your preferred working position. Overall, the EXTARO 300 quickly targets affected areas, preserves healthy tooth substance, and saves valuable chair time, Zeiss reports.
