Armed with a BA in psychology, Ms. Gunn is a Certified Fraud Examiner, with complete understanding of professional practices, practice management systems, and practice procedures. When embezzlement is suspected, she is able to investigate, interview, and provide complete reports for prosecution and civil suit purposes. Ms. Gunn 25 years plus of business automation and financial software experience, has been an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor since Intuit established the program, and has written 46 books geared for professional practices sold internationally. She is the author of QuickBooks In Your Practice (1999 to 2021), Advanced QuickBooks In Your Practice (2004 to 2021), More Than Just Turning It On (OP), and highly praised Money In, Money Out: Financial Organization In Your Practice(2019). Ms. Gunn co-authored the ADA publication, The ADA Practical Guide to Expert Business Strategies (2014) and contributed to ADA Guidelines for Practice Success. A nationally recognized conference and study club speaker, Ms. Gunn has an uncanny ability to pull a story out of life that that makes easy a previously hard to understand concept. Her speaking style combines humor with expertise, and her advice always being down-to-earth and practical. Among the countless recognition and awards received, Ms. Gunn was honored with the prestigious Charles Kidd Spirit Award presented in 2015 by the Academy of Dental Management Consultants for her leadership and contributions. The ADA recognized Ms. Gunn as a Financial Matter Expert 2015 and an ADA Consultant to the Council 2016-2020.
