His clinical use and expertise of lasers includes CO2, variable-pulsed, free-running pulsed (FRP) Nd:YAG, FRP Ho:YAG, surgical blue and green argon, continuous wave diode, and Er:YAG lasers. He is co-inventor of the US FDA-cleared PerioLase MVP-7 pulsed Nd:YAG laser, which was awarded the Pride Institute’s Best-of-Class Technology Award in 2012, as well as the 450-nm/1,064-nm dual-pulsed diode BlaZZer laser. He is program director for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry and is a founder of Millennium Dental Technologies.
