Dr. Fier is a full-time practicing clinician and served as a dental officer in the US Navy. He is a highly respected lecturer in the US and internationally on multiple topics. He is the executive vice president of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics; a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry; and a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics, Academy of Dentistry International, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists. He served as a consultant to the ADA on patient education materials, appeared on the cable TV series Feeling Good, and consults with manufacturers to help improve and develop dental products. He presents CE courses at many prestigious dental schools and conferences in the US and internationally. He is a contributing editor for Reality and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Dentistry Today. He publishes regularly and is a consultant and author on dentistry for the widely distributed consumer publication, The Bottom Line. He is also an associate clinical professor at the Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College.
