The European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) has recognized GC Europe NV with its Global Excellence Award for 2019. This is the first time that a dental company has won the award, which is the highest recognition that any private, public, or non-profit organization can receive, GC Europe NV says.
EFQM aims to create an environment where organizations can learn from each other to continuously improve their performance through the use of the EFQM Excellence Model. EFQM recognized GC Europe particularly for its strong culture of transparency and trust, “GC No Kokoro,” or GC’s Heart.
GC’s Heart is based on the Japanese concept of semui, which places ethical values over short-term growth objectives and supports sustainable development. It also is the basis of a strong customer focus, GC Europe says, which leads to high customer satisfaction and sustainable and successful partnerships.
EFQM further cited GC Europe’s high-performance environment created by leaders using a blend of Japanese and European culture. And, EFQM called GC’s quality management, relationships with key opinion leaders, and the deployment of the GC Minimum Intervention strategy role model practices.
