DMG has donated its Icon Caries Infiltrant to the CARE Center Children’s Medical and Dental Clinic in Chandler, Arizona. Icon Caries Infiltrant is designed to quickly and effectively block the progression of early stage caries with no need for drilling or anesthesia, facilitating minimally invasive and effective treatment for younger and more vulnerable patients who are apprehensive about dental care.

The CARE Center Children’s Medical and Dental Clinic is a 501(c)3 organization that provides no-cost dental care and treatment to uninsured, low-income children. Of the youth it serves, 51% live in single-parent households, and 60% come from homes with less than $25,000 in annual income for a family of four. With the support of dental product manufacturers and other members of the industry, it serves more than 1,000 youth in Chandler each year.

As part of a partnership between the Chandler Unified School District, St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic, and Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, the CARE Center Children’s Medical and Dental Clinic is the only one of its kind in the Phoenix metro area that provides access to free dental services five days a week to children in need.
