William Mopper

Dr. Mopper is coauthor of A Complete Guide to Dental Bonding, which was the first definitive book for the dental profession describing bonding techniques. He has been doing minimally invasive dentistry with composite for more than 40 years. He is a Life Fellow of the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the American College of Dentistry, and a Life Fellow and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He teaches direct resin bonding on a continuing education level at many major universities. Dr. Mopper is also cofounder and chairman of Cosmedent, where he is responsible for its educational programs and product development. He was honored with awards from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for “Lifelong Commitment to Providing Excellence in Continuing Education in Cosmetic Dentistry” and for “Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry” as well as the World Esthetic Congress Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to Aesthetic Dentistry. He received the New York University College of Dentistry Irwin Smigel Prize in Aesthetic Dentistry and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Aesthetic Conference in England for “outstanding contributions to cosmetic dentistry.” He has also published widely and is an internationally renowned lecturer in aesthetic dentistry with an emphasis on composite bonding using direct application techniques. 
Dr. Mopper received an award in 2105 from the AACD for Outstanding Innovation in Cosmetic Dentistry. And, he received the 2017 Gordon J, Christensen Lecture Recognition Award from the Chicago Dental Society and the 2018 Distinguished Alumnus Dental Award from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
