Dr. Michael A. Miyasaki owns his general dentistry practice in Sacramento, CA. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1987. He worked as associate and then opened his own practice. From there he moved to Las Vegas to teach and practice. He was the Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Discus Dental before it was sold to Philips Oral Healthcare. He was Executive Vice President at Danville Materials before it was sold to Zest. Currently, he is the Chief Dental Officer for Vista Apex Dental Materials and 3Dio to bring innovation to the dental profession and improve patient diagnostics and care. He is the Director of Clinical Development for the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum and runs live patient treatment programs for the member doctors focused on minimally invasive, comprehensive and aesthetic treatment. He is one of the founders of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Implantology in the US. He is an educator for Myotronics and Coltene, and an advisor and contributor to the Continuum Academy. He lectures on restorative dentistry (with an emphasis on bioactive restorative protocols), the use of lasers, occlusion (using bio-electric diagnostic equipment), aesthetics (from whitening and minor tooth movement to veneers), minimally invasive implantology (single tooth to full arch restorative, or the use of over-denture attachments), and efficient endodontic protocols (with an emphasis on active irrigation and bioactive sealers). Dr. Miyasaki is continuously learning and enjoys sharing with his colleagues to increase their professional satisfaction and the predictability of their patients’ treatment.
