Bakeman, Elizabeth

Dr. Bakeman received her DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and she is an Accredited Fellow and the president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), where she serves as an examiner for the Accreditation and Fellowship examinations. She also has served as chairman of accreditation for the AACD and as chairman of the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Kois Center in Seattle, Wash, and maintains a full-time private practice in Grand Rapids, Mich. Dr. Bakeman works with dentists and technicians to promote education through publication and has served as contributing editor to the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and Compendium. She also serves on several editorial boards. She publishes and lectures on the topics of comprehensive dentistry and periodontal plastic surgery in the aesthetic zone. Dr. Bakeman received the Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry Education Award from the AACD in 2013.
