BIOMET 3i Welcomes New President

Palm Beach Gardens, FL (February 4, 2013) – BIOMET 3i is pleased to announce that Bart Doedens has been appointed as the new President of BIOMET 3i. In tandem, Maggie Anderson has announced her resignation after four years with the organization.

Mr. Doedens’ history with BIOMET 3i dates back to 1997 when he joined Implant Innovations Inc. as the Vice President of International Marketing and Sales. Soon after Biomet’s acquisition of Implant Innovations, he was named President of BIOMET 3i. Mr. Doedens served in that capacity until 2005 when he was named the President of Biomet’s spine and bone healing division, now known as Biomet Spine & Bone Healing Technologies. In 2006, he left Biomet and joined Sirona Dental Systems in 2007 as the Vice President of Global CAD/CAM.

Mr. Doedens stated, “I’ve watched BIOMET 3i grow throughout the years, and the chance to once again work within such a vibrant, thriving company is fantastic.”

Mr. Doedens holds an M.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s executive program at the University of Rotterdam.
