AACD Heads to Texas for the 39th Annual Scientific Session

The world’s largest organization for cosmetic dental professionals, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), is headed to Grapevine, Texas, for its next annual scientific session. Packed with hands-on education, networking, and social opportunities for professionals from around the globe, this best-in-class event offers a variety of ways to make meaningful connections to other passionate dental professionals and learn from experts in the field.

The conference begins on Wednesday, April 26, with a day of programming focused on excellence in the esthetic zone: AACD Accreditation and Criteria Workshops. On Thursday evening, attendees will amble over to the Glass Cactus for a special AACD Social Reception, Rhinestone Roundup. Polish up those rhinestones and get ready to sparkle and shine when the dental stars come out to play!

Exhibitor Socials on Thursday and Friday are an opportunity to network with our partners and fellow attendees while enjoying beverages and scrumptious appetizers before enjoying the wonderful surroundings at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, our host venue.

AACD Texas 2023 concludes with the Celebration of Excellence Reception and Awards dinner on Saturday evening. This gala event—Sapphire & Spurs—allows the AACD community the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the accomplishments of outstanding individuals, including newly Accredited Members, Accredited Fellows, and Evy Award recipients.

After 9:00 pm, following the Celebration of Excellence awards dinner, all conference attendees are welcome to join the After Party to dance the night away with your AACD family.

In addition to social activities and educational opportunities, there will be events dedicated to giving back with the annual Give Back a Smile Fundraising Event happening Friday, April 28, where you won’t want to miss an opportunity to try America’s fastest growing sport—Pickleball—in a unique, indoor/outdoor entertainment complex! Transportation to and from the event is included with your ticket. Steps for Smiles will count participant steps throughout the conference and donate proceeds to survivors through the GBAS program, and then a conference favorite is returning: the GBAS Charity Auction.

Proceeds help survivors of domestic violence receive life-changing smile restorations through the Give Back a Smile program.

AACD 2023 Texas, April 26-29, will offer a variety of activities and events for professional networking and practice-building.

The Scientific Session is designed to support dental professionals as they work to reach their personal and professional goals.
