AB Dental Implants

I5 implants are conical, spiral, double-threaded system implants with deep and especially sharp threads en-abling implant self-retention. This easy and quick insertion (self-tapping) system prevents bone-tissue trauma and increases the implant’s external surface, accelerating the healing process. The entire neck of the implant is delicately threaded in order to prevent bone retraction. For more information, call (888) 823-5553 or visit the Web site ab-dentusa.com.

BIOMET 3i

The Tapered Implant System is designed for primary stability and accurate placement. Quad-shaping drills, depth/direction indicators, bone taps, and implants are engineered to provide accurate osteotomy creation and implant placement. For more information, call (800) 443-8166.

Nobel Biocare

NobelActive, with its unique tip and thread design, slices through bone, unlike conventional self-tapping implants that scrape the bone away as they tap. By progressively condensing and repositioning the bone as it is inserted, NobelActive can be “actively” placed at different angles for exceptional initial stability and optimal restorative orientation. For more information, call (800) 322-5001.

Sterngold

The ERA Implant System for provisional and permanent applications combines the extremely popular ERA Overdenture Attachment with a narrow-diameter (2.2 mm or 3.25 mm), self-tapping implant used to protect an os-seous graft site and to immediately stabilize a complete denture on a temporary or permanent basis. For more information, call (800) 243-9942 or visit the Web site sterngold.com.

Dentatus

Atlas Implants are available in 1.8-, 2.2-, and 2.4-mm diameters. Unique Tuf-LINK silicone reline material retains dentures without housings, o-rings, or adhesives. The entire procedure is performed in a single chairside visit, is minimally invasive, and extremely economical. Inquire about Dentatus’s award-winning hands-on workshop where one can learn the entire procedure and walk out ready and equipped to begin placing implants. For more information, call (800) 323-3136 or visit dentatus.com.

The patented Cresco precision method ensures a passive fit for screw-retained implant bridges—independent of implant system or framework material. For more information, call (800) 531-3481.

Zest Anchors

A special LOCATOR Abutment with titanium collar is designed for direct placement on the Nobel Biocare Multi-Unit Abutment for the All-on-4 Implant procedure. Use of free-standing LOCATOR Abutments eliminates the high cost of a cast bar while reducing the vertical height of the restoration. Pa-tient oral hygiene is easier to maintain with individual LOCATOR Abutments rather than the complex structure of a cast bar. For more information, call (800) 262-2310.

PerioSeal

The PerioSeal Implant System provides today’s general dentists and specialists the simplest yet most advanced system marketed in the United States for addressing the issues of highest concern to patients and dentists. Its unique design incorporates safety features, lower costs, simple crown-and-bridge dentistry, and a superior cosmetic outcome. PerioSeal incorporates conventional dentistry principles (ferrule crown at-tachment) to implant dentistry. For more information, call (888) 446-7126 or visit the Web site perioseal.com.

Basic Dental Implants

MIDI series implants bridge the gap between mini and conventional implants. Two 1-piece configurations are available: o-ring attachment for denture stabilization and angled abutment for nonremovable prosthodontics. With lengths of 11, 13, and 15 mm and diameters of 3, 3.8, and 4.3 mm, these implants economically accommodate most cases in which strength and bone volume are concerns. For more information, call (888) 888-1468.

Impladent

Impladent’s dental implant system offers PhysioLock Immediate Stabilization Thread, which provides predominant implant load-bearing areas for success and increases total surface areas for immediate bone-to-implant interface for the same osteotomy when compared to other implants. MicroGroove abutments reduce the migration of epithelium and provide immediate abutment-to-bone implant interface if immediate loading is selected. For more information, call (800) 526-9343.

Bicon Dental Implants

One of the cornerstones of the simplicity of the Bicon Design is the innovation of short implants. When the Bicon system was first introduced in 1985, its 8-mm implants were considered quite short—most other implants were at least 12 to 14 mm. Since then, the natural progression of Bicon’s design philosophy has resulted in 5-, 5.7-, and 6-mm short implants, which all have proven clinical success. For more information, call (800) 882-4266.
