'A New Era in Laser Dentistry' at Russian Dental Expo 2011

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - September 26, 2011) - AMD LASERS announced that its founder and president Alan Miller will be presenting at Dental Expo Russia 2011 Conference in Moscow, September 26-28, 2011.

Dental Expo is Russia's largest dental exhibition each year, with more than 40,000 dental professionals from the region expected to attend. Mr. Miller's presentation, which is titled "A New Era in Laser Dentistry," addresses how lasers can positively affect the lives of patients.

L. Jackson Brown, D.D.S., M.Phil., Ph.D., to Retire as Journal of Dental Education Editor

WASHINGTON, DC—The esteemed Editor of the Journal of Dental Education (JDE), L. Jackson Brown, D.D.S., M.Phil., Ph.D., has announced he will retire from his position in March 2012. Dr. Brown has served the JDE admirably since 2009. Under his direction, the manuscript submission process for the JDE was significantly streamlined. The JDE now attracts 60% more submissions annually from more than 50 countries around the world. Through his leadership as Editor, Dr. Brown has carried on the JDE's tradition as the premier dental education journal.
