Harcum College’s Director of Professional Studies Named to Penn. State Board of Dentistry

Bryn Mawr, PA – March 15, 2012 – Chalfont-resident Theresa Groody, Director of Professional Studies at Harcum College, has been appointed to serve a six-year term as a member of the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. Groody was confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate and appointed by Governor Corbett to serve as the first Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) on the board.

Vident Technical Sales Reps Receive In-Depth Technical Training

(Brea, CA) – In the spirit of continuing education and lifelong learning, Vident recently conducted an in-house technical training for its sales representatives at the Vident Training Center in Brea, CA. The hands-on course included all Vident Technical Sales Representatives and was a combination of hands-on learning, discussion and lectures led by Technical trainers Petra Kohlhaas and Thomas Gausmann from VITA’s headquarters in Germany. The training included all aspects of porcelain layering with both metal and all-ceramics as well as CAD/CAM milling of VITABLOCS, furnace programming and pressing. The week-long course even included an overview of denture setup techniques, as well as a hands-on opportunity for each representative to set their own full denture.

AACD Uncovers ‘Smile Secrets’ With Healthy Smile Recipe Book

ACTEON North America Changes Its Management Team

Chip Vagnoni: National Education and Clinical Manager
Chip has been with ACTEON, Inc for five years in the role of SATELEC Product Specialist. Most recently, Chip had been tasked with being ACTEON, Inc's point of contact with all of our Key Opinion Leaders (KOL). Chip's work ethic, personality and his vast clinical knowledge makes him well prepared to transition into his new role as National Education and Clinical Manager, effective April 1st. In Chip's new role, he will remain focused on clinical expertise and relationship building with ACTEON KOL's, but will also work with ACTEON, Inc's sales team and ACTEON Product Specialists to facilitate and grow our School and Government business. Chip will also work with Marketing in the development of new training materials, literature, hands-on/courses and deadlines.
