ADHA's Names New Director of Governmental Affairs

Chicago, May 29, 2012 – The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Lynch, as its director of governmental affairs effective June 5, 2012. As leader of the division, Lynch's responsibilities will include overseeing the strategy and execution of ADHA's advocacy efforts on the federal level in Washington, D.C. and directing the governmental affairs staff in their support and counsel to ADHA's state organizations in all their advocacy initiatives.

(Charlotte, NC – May 25, 2012) In an effort to expand oral health services for children, My Kid’s Dentist/Every Kid’s Dentist (MKD/EKD) announced a partnership with National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF) through the Students United for America’s ToothFairy™ (SUAT) Pediatric Dental Residency Program.  As a result of this alliance, NCOHF will become the primary charitable partner for the Pacific Dental Services-affiliated MKD/EKD offices.

C3 Jian Obtains FDA Acceptance of Investigational New Drug Application

LOS ANGELES, May 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- C3 Jian, Inc., a private company focused on providing improved oral healthcare, announced today that its Investigational New Drug Application (IND) for its novel drug, C16G2, has been accepted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). C3 Jian expects the Phase 1 clinical trial to start in July.
